In this article, I’m gonna cover the next 4 Names In sha Allah! Let’s read for boosting our Iman & for knowing Allah Almighty.

→ Al-Muzil (The Dishonourer, The Humiliator)

He gives esteem(Izzah) to whoever He willed, hence there is no one to degrade him, And He degrades whoever He willed, hence there is no one to give him esteem.

The root word of this name points to the following meanings:

→ to be low, base, despicable

→ to be inglorious, abased

→ weak, to be tractable, easy, and manageable.

Indeed, the ones who oppose Allah and His Messenger — will be among the most abject beings.. (Quran 58:20)

Al-Muzil is the one who brings down people and humiliates the arrogant Pharaohs of any time. He humiliates whom He will, lowering him in status and making him unknown and insignificant.

Some Examples:

Do you know Hitler? He was unbelievably powerful during his time. He turned his country into a world power. But that power was only based on oppression. He killed a lot of persons. And at last, He was humiliated and brought down. Do you know what was his end? Yes, He ended up committing suicide. This is the way of Allah subhanahu wa ta`ala. At times we see tyrants with great power, but eventually, they are toppled down and get humiliated.

→ Al-Muzil is not just for rulers who are oppressive. Also, Allah lowers down those people who are arrogant and boastful. Allah says in Qur’an: “And Allah does not love any self-admirer, over-proud”(57:23). That’s why when Iblees said, “I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” (38:76) He was expelled from Paradise. When Pharaoh said, “I am your most exalted lord.” (79:24) He was drowned in the sea.

Don’t be sad

If someone humiliated or insulted you on pathetic standards of society like not having a gorgeous look, face, body, branded things, etc. Then don’t be sad at all. These are all standards of society, not Allah. Allah doesn't look at these things, he looks at your hearts and deeds. Try to achieve the pleasure of Allah.

Do you know about an Iman boosting story of Hazarat Julaybib (RA)? How’s society gave him no respect and kids throw pebbles on him because of ugly look, and then Prophet (SAW) gave him that Izzah that no one can imagine because of his sincerity. Read it out: Click

Our duty?

  1. Fear Al-Muzil. How many of us have a little Pharaoh or a little Iblees within us, justifying our arrogance? Sometimes we humiliate our friends' by making jokes. Make jokes and do fun, but don’t insult someone. The lesson for us is to be humble in front of Allah as soon as possible. Otherwise, Allah will humiliate us because of our arrogance and making fun of others
  2. The Prophet salAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said,

من تواضع رفعه الله

Whoever humbles himself to Allah, Allah will raise him.(Muslim)

So try to humble yourself in front of Allah. He will raise your ranks in pious ones and in people of the world.

3. Always Ask Allah for raising your Izzah in society and make you humble. Allah will respond to your Dua’s In sha Allah!

→ As-Samee (The All-Hearing)

He is the One whose hearing and attention cover everything. As-Samee’ hears every single word, thought, and the secret of hearts. He listens to every voice in this world. As-Samee listens perfectly and without any limits!

Samee’ comes from the root seen-meem-‘ayn(سمع), which refers to four main meanings.

→ To hear and to listen

→ To accept and receive.

→ To pay attention

→ To understand the meaning.

He pays attention to every supplication, listening to all who reach out to him. Whether we speak loudly or in secrecy he hears every word. He knows secrets of Hearts, thoughts in mind, your plans either you reveal it or not:

Allah says in Qur’an:

He fully knows all that is hidden in the breasts of people. (Surah Al-Hadid, 57: 6)

Say, “Whether you conceal what is in your breasts or reveal it, Allah knows it. And He knows that which is in the heavens and that which is on the earth. And Allah is over all things competent. (Surah Al-Imran, 3:29)

No secrets for As-Samee

As-Samee’ hears every single sound, every moving of the tree, every voice, and every thought. Our most secret speech is an open declaration before Allah. As-Samee’ tells us:

It is all the same for Him whether any of you says a thing secretly, or says it loudly, and whether one hides oneself in the darkness of night, or struts about in broad daylight. (Surah Ar-Ra’d, 13:10)

Our Duty?

  1. Watch that tongue

How many times have you did care about your mouth when certain people were around, like your parents, a teacher, or friends? As Muslims one of our tasks is to guard our tongue anytime, anywhere, and in any company. There are always angels around us to record our deeds, Allah tells us:
He [i.e., man] utters no word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]. (Surah Qaf, 50:18)

Use your tongue wisely so that your words will not be something that keeps you from the gates of Jannah.

2. Study the etiquette of speech for a Muslim.
Above we see that we have to care about our speech. So, how do you know if your speech is pleasing to As-Samee’ if you do not study His book (Qur’an) and the sunnah of the Prophet(PBUH) him? Learn about the prohibitions of the tongue, like backbiting, swearing, and lying. Like Allah says:

Woe to every fault-finding backbiter (Surah Al-Humazah, 104:1)

Study the types of speech As-Samee’ loves to hear from you, like dhikr, good advice and words of hope, kind words to others, and reciting the Quran.

3. Ask As-Samee
Always Ask from As-Samme for your halal needs. Ask in Salah, make prayers and supplications. Make ask for whatever (halaal) you want in this life and the next. Because Allah hears and responds even whenever you make pray. He says:

(O Muhammad), when My servants ask you about Me, tell them I am quite near; I hear and answer the call of the caller whenever he calls Me. Let them listen to My call and believe in Me;1 perhaps they will be guided aright. (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:184)

4. Know your responsibility

Allah created you in the best form. Allah says: We have certainly created man in the best of stature (95:4). Did Allah give you ears to listen to gossip, bad stuff, or music? Did He give you a tongue so He could hear swearing and lying from you? Ask Him to help you to use your hearing and your tongue only for things pleasing to Him.

→ Al-Baseer (The All-Seeing)

The One whose insight sees all things clearly, both the apparent and the hidden. The One who sees and understands all that has been, and all that will be.

The One who has insight into all things. The One who perceives every detail. The One who understands all things, both outer and inner.

Baseer comes from the root baa-saad-raa (بصر), which points to four main meanings.

→ To see or notice

→ To understand

→ To have insight or to perceive

→ To be precisely aware.

Al-Baseer refers to the perfection and the totality of Allah’s seeing, which cannot be compared with the seeing of any other created being.

Fear of supervision?

An employee will most likely work harder when his manager is watching him. And same as in the case for children, parents and students, teachers. But unfortunately after this Ayah:

وَهُوَ مَعَكُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

He is with you wherever you are. Allah sees all that you do.

We didn't act according to the commands of Allah. Do we believe in Allah? His Messenger? and His book (Qur’an)? if yes then why this weird behavior? make your actions in such a way that you want to please Allah whenever he’s watching you.

Our Duty?

Watch you deeds

How many times have you watched your deeds when certain people were around? Unfortunately, we did not! As Muslims one of our tasks is to mind our acts anytime, anywhere, and in any company. A practical tip is to imagine yourself being watched by a camera that follows you 24/7, whether you are with people or all alone.

Have a Trust

He sees every fear and sorrows you face and everything others. He is the Only One Who only gives you what is good for you at all times. Sometimes a thing is not good for you, If Allah did not grant you that then instead of complaining, ponder and show contentment over it. Submit and put all your trust in Him only. Al-Baseer says: And put your trust in Him Who is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate [Quran 26: 217]

→ Ask Al-Baseer
Allah Al-Baseer loves those who use the abilities He gave them for His sake. Did Allah give you eyes to look at forbidden things or to work in an unpermitted business? Did He give you the blessing of understanding for useless purposes? Use your mind for understanding the challenges and Fitnahs of this modern world. Use your intellectual to see the truths of this world that how this world is getting prepared for the arrival of dajjal, why we’re going to a single global world order scheme, what’s are the agendas of Illumaties and Masons and how they’re controlling the world slowly by using different things. If you didn't think and strive for knowledge of these things, your generations are at a huge loss. Ask Him to help you to use your sight and insight only for useful things. Because Allah says:

For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts. (Quran, 22:46)

Make Dua to Al-Baseer

Al-Baseer sees every hardship, loss, grief, and distress you faced, so invoke Him and supplicate to Him for giving you peace of heart and contentment. Remember him at every place, every occasion.

Al-Hakam (The Judge)

The One who is the supreme magistrate. The One who is the only true judge. The One who always delivers justice in every situation. The One whose judgments and decrees are never overturned. The One who makes the final decision of the nature of all matters.

Hakam comes from the root haa-kaaf-meem (حکم), which refers to the

→ attribute of judging

→ being wise

→ preventing or restraining people from wrongdoing.

The best of judges

Al-Hakam deals with all the affairs of creation — isn’t that amazing? He says:

All those who are in the heavens and the earth ask of Him; every moment He is in a state (of glory). [Quran, 55:29]
Al-Hakam makes certain deeds lawful and other deeds unlawful. He has complete legislative power and His decree can’t be overturned by anyone, because He says: His is the creation and His is the command. [Quran, 7:54].

Whatever Al-Hakam legislates for us is never burdensome and never unfair. He laid down the perfect rules to protect the rights of everyone — men and women, the righteous and the sinner, the believer, and the unbeliever. Just read the laws of Shariah and ponder over him how’s Allah is taking care of every person.

An example of a beautiful justice

When someone converts to Islam, Al-Hakam forgives all of his previous sins and evil deeds. A man called Amr came to the Prophet Muhammad and said, Give me your right hand so that I may give you my pledge of loyalty. The Prophet stretched out his right hand. Amr withdrew his hand. The Prophet said: What has happened to you, O Amr? He replied I intend to lay down a condition. The Prophet asked: What condition do you intend to put forward? Amr said, That Allah forgives my sins. The Prophet said: Didn’t you know that converting to Islam erases all previous sins? [Muslim] This is the beautiful justice of Allah ‘azza wa jall. Alhamdulillah ‘alaa ni’matul Islam — Praise be to Allah for the blessing of Islam.

Our Duty?

Have a Trust

Take comfort in the fact that even if people are unjust, you will get your justice from Al-Hakam! You have to please him, not the people. Don’t despair, and fully rely on His judgment. Al-Hakam says:

Follow what has been revealed to you, and be steadfast until Allah’s judgment comes. He is the Best of Judges. [Quran, 10:109]

Be motivated to do good deeds.
Al-Hakam is wise. He is the ultimate Judge, and He decreed that you don’t have to bear the sin of another. And in the context of good deeds he says:

Whoever brings a good deed shall have ten times the like thereof to his credit, and whoever brings an evil deed shall have only the recompense of the like thereof, and they will not be wronged. [Quran, 6:160].

Let this motivate you to take each chance to do a good deed; benefit from your health, wealth, and free time by using them wisely.

→ Make the Quran and sunnah your guides.
You should take the Quran and the sunnah for guidance in all matters, in all areas of your life. No matter how much society will normalize ethically bad and haram things, You should make the Quran and sunnah your guidance between right and wrong in everything you do, to guide you in your personal life, your community, your society, your interactions with others, and your business.

→ Remember Al-Hakam and stand up for the truth.
Remind yourself that you will stand before Him one day to be judged by Him. Make this your motivation to mind your actions in this world. Always stand up for truth and justice, even if it’s against yourself and even the whole community against you. Strive for a self-purification from the One and only judge. Allah says:

Allah will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which you used to differ (Quran 22:68)

→ Never object to the decree of Al-Hakam.
Whenever Al-Hakam decrees something, He does so with perfect wisdom. Never object to the decree of Al-Hakam by complaining about your fate and questioning Him (e.g. oh, why do I have to go through this?) Only people who don’t understand Allah’s names and attributes will question Him, so make it a striving to study al Asmaa ul husnaa.

Be patient until Allah will judge. And He is the best of judges. (Quran 10:109)
