→ Al Quddus (All-Perfect)

This is from the root word q-d-s (قُدس), which has three meanings:

  1. To be pure & clean
  2. To be far removed from impurity or imperfection
  3. To be holy & sacred

Linguistically, Al-Quddoos is known as the One who is set apart, distinctly different, and separate from all worldly imperfections, sins, and faults. He is far greater & far removed from any imperfection & free from any partner, spouse, or child, from death, from injustice, lying, forgetfulness, error, poverty, and stinginess. لا الٰہ الا اللہthere is no God but He

There is nothing like Him (Surah Ash-Shuraa, 42:11)

Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allah,1 the Sovereign, the Pure, the Exalted in Might, the Wise (Surah Al-Jumu’ah, 62:1)

Nor is there to Him any equivalent. (Surah Al-Ikhlas, 112:4)

Do you know of anyone equal to Him ˹in His attributes˺? (Surah Maryam, 19:65)

→ As-Salam (Flaw-Less, The All Perfect)

Allah is free of any imperfection in His Being, names, attributes, and actions. He is the One who is the source of all peace and safety. As-Salaam is perfect and whole and He is the only one who can bestow safety and security as well as inner peace to His whole creations!

Salaam comes from the root seen-laam-meem (سلم), which points to three main meanings.

  1. To be peaceful, content, and tranquil.
  2. To be free from imperfections,
  3. To be safe, secure, and well.

He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, The Perfection, (Surat Al-Hashr, 59:23)

Some more Iman-Boosting Examples:

  1. The root Salama makes Islam, enter into Peace. Islam means to enter into peace by surrendering &submitting to Allah ‘Azza Wa Jal.
  2. Paradise is called Daar us Salaam: because it is free from all pain, death, worries, and ill speech, and it is a place of safety.
  3. Allah Loves qalbu-saleem, which means a sound heart that is unblemished.
  4. Assalamu Alaykum words meaning is Peace & safety.

So, Practice spreading peace among people for spreading love & for getting a chance of going to Jannah as it is mentioned in a Hadith too.

→ Al-Mu’min (The One Who gives Iman and Security)

The One who faithfully bestows the gifts of peace, safety, and security to His slaves, assuring them that He will not wrong them in any way and provides these all to His righteous servants.

Mu’min comes from the root hamza-meem-noon (اؑمن), which points to four main meanings.

  1. To be secure, safe, and free from fear,
  2. To be quiet and tranquil.
  3. To grant protection and to safeguard,
  4. To be trustworthy
  5. To believe in.

The word aman is also from the same root word, which means security, safety, and freedom from fear. The ones who have Imaan — belief in Allah ‘Azza wa Jal — and who act accordingly are the ones who will receive Allah’s aman (security) in this world and the Hereafter. In this world, they will experience a sense of serenity and peace of heart during hardship as well as during the terror of the Last Day.

Al-Mu’min says: Indeed, those who say: ‘Our Lord is Allah,’ and then they remain firm (upon that statement), on them the angels will descend (saying): ‘Fear not, nor grieve! But receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you have been promised!’ [Quran, 41:30]

He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Grantor of Security(Surat Al-Hashr, 59:23)

Surely those who say, “Our Lord is Allah,” and then remain steadfast — there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve. (Al-Ahqaf, 46:13)

→ Al-Muhaymin (The Witness, The Guardian)

Allah calls Himself Al-Muhaymin — The Guardian, The Witness, and The Overseer.

Al Muhaymin is the one who ensures well-being and protection over his creation. He is ever watchful and offers peace and security. He is the trustworthy one who proclaims the truth.

Muhaymin comes from the root haa-meem-noon (ھمن), which points to three main meanings.

  1. To oversee, protect, and guard.
  2. To witness.
  3. To determine the truth.

Al-Muhaymin sees every deed you do; He observes your reactions to situations and even witnesses your inner thoughts.

He reigns supreme over all of His creation, and sends recording-angels, watching over you. (Al_Anam, 6:61)

The Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

Be mindful of Allah and Allah will protect you. [Tirmidhee]

Remind yourself constantly of this fact and let it motivate you to stay away from sins and temptations.

He is Allah — there is no god except Him: the King, the Most Holy, the All-Perfect, the Source of Serenity, the Watcher ˹of all˺ (Al-Hashr 59:23)
