In this article, I’m gonna cover the next 4 Names In sha Allah! Let’s read for boosting our Iman & for knowing Allah Almighty.

→ Al-Jaleel (The Majestic One)

Allah is Al-Jaleel, the one who is great and above all in dignity and rank. He is such a great being who can’t be compared with anybody. His greatness is beyond our imagination & limited wisdoms. He is the majestic one and the source of all attributes of greatness.

Al-Jaleel is from the root j-l-l which has the following meanings:

→ to be supremely great

→ to be glorious and majestic

→ to be sublime and high

Only your Lord Himself, full of Majesty and Honour, will remain forever. (Qur’an, 55:27)

Our Duty?

—: Be Humble

Glorify Him alone and be humble in life in order to be great in the sight of Al-Jaleel. If Allah Al-Jaleel blessed you with power or Izzah in this world in knowledge, job position, or any other skill, make sure to benefit others.

—: Ponder

Just do some research on your body and see how Amazing the designer ALLAH is. DNA, Brain Areas, Sleep patterns & types, Skin, and Nervous Systems are some of the examples. Research about them and see these amazing creations. This shows how Al-Jaleel Allah is. The Majestic one. How he made such complex and sophisticated designs. Doing that will bring you closer to Allah.

—: Call Al-Jalil

Make dua using this name to ask Him to lead you to deeds pleasing to Him. There is no rank higher or achievement better than the attainment of Allah’s good pleasure.

→ Al-Karim (The Bountiful One)

Allah is Al-Karim who is the most generous, kind, and bountiful. He is The One whose kindness has no limits and is He continually gives precious gifts to whomever he wills. He is gracious in giving rewards in multiple even for the smallest acts.

He is Al-Kareem in His dealings with His creation. He forgives and gives a lot of chances to their slaves for building their character.

Kareem comes from the root kaaf-raa-meem (کرم), which points out two main meanings.

→ To be generous, giver, and beneficent.

→ To be highly esteemed, honored, and valued.

Allah say:

Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. (Surah Maryam, 96:19)

Allah says in Qur’an for shaking the soul of his slaves:

O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, Who created you, fashioned you, and perfected your design (Surah Al-Infitar, 82:5)

Our Duty?

—: Be generous

Allah’s names and attributes are of two categories

  1. Those that are attributed only to Him ( e.g. Al-Khaaliq, The Creator)
  2. And those that can and should be strived for to be attributed to ourselves.

One of them is Al-Kareem. Be generous with your belongings, time, and even your words. Because Prophet (SAW) said:

The generous one is close to Allah, close to people, far from the fire” [Thirmidhi]

—: Spread the message

Al-Kareem honored us as human beings and specifically honors us as Greate Ummah (Muslims) whose duty is to spread goodness. Recognize the worth Al-Kareem gave you. Use your to benefit the Ummah. Share the ayaat of the Quran with others, teach someone else, even if it is one hadith, and spread the message of Islam by showing beautiful, honorable manners to non-Muslims.

Allah says in Qur’an:

Cooperate with one another in goodness and righteousness, and do not cooperate in sin and transgression (Surah Ma’idah, 5:2)

—: Study about Al-Kareem

Study about Allah. Learn about His names and attributes and get to know what they mean specifically to you and your life. Do not be deceived by this world and by the Shaytan. Seek refuge from Allah. Know that Al-Kareem will never let down those who spend their lives obeying Him, even though others might say practicing your deen is not “cool.” You are here because of Him and for Him; use the intellect and skills Al-Kareem gave You to work towards His pleasure and His ultimate generosity.

→ Ar-Raqeeb (The All-Observing)

The One who watches all things. The One who is the ever vigilant witness.

The One from whose observation nothing is hidden. The One who observes all thoughts, deeds, and feelings.

Ar-Raqeeb is the One Who sees what is hidden in the hearts and He is the One Who charges your soul for what it has earned. He is the All-and-Ever-Watchful, observing everyone’s actions, thoughts, and feelings.

Raqeeb comes from the root raa-qaaf-baa, which points to these main meanings.

→ To look, watch, observe.

→ To be vigilant.

Our Duty?

—: You are never alone

Allay says in Qur’an:

And He is with you wherever you are. For Allah is All-Seeing of what you do. (Al-Hadid, 57:4)

So, Remind yourself Allah is always watching your every move. Try to feel His presence and try to communicate with Him. Make dua to Him to keep your intentions pure and your deeds upright.

—: Mind your words

For precautions, some of us might stay away from the major sins, such as Shirk, adultery, and interest, but we daily commit thousands of small sins with the way we speak and what we speak about. Be inspired by Ar-Raqeeb to mind every word you speak and ask yourself: does this speech please Allah or make Him angry?? Although we can’t be perfect, but we can at least try our best so that our name should not be in heedless peoples on day of judgment, who speaks whatever comes into their minds.

Allah says that even a single word is kept into record:

He [i.e., man] utters no word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]. [Qaf, 50:18]

—: Supplicate to Ar-Raqeeb

No doubt, that this world is full of temptations and desires. Our Iman level fluctuates many times and goes ups and downs. But never stop moving towards Allah. Seek Dua and Istaqamah from Him. Make supplication like Prophet Yunus (As), Allah will listen and respond to you as he respond to Hazarat Yunus in the darkness of the sea, when he was alone.

Al-Mujeeb ( The Answerer of Prayers, The Responsive)

Allah is Al-Mujeeb, he is very close to his believers and readily willing to answer supplications of those who ask. He listens to all prayers, needs, and supplications.

As we discussed previously, Allah is As-Samee and has powers beyond our comprehension and wisdom. He listens to everyone, in every corner of this universe.

The root word of this word has the following meanings:

→ To reply, respond

→ To accept, answer.

There is a favorite verse of mine in which Allah says:

Our Duty?

—: Know the art of asking.

There is a manner of dua for acceptance. Start with Praising Allah and sending Salwat to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and Thanks to Allah for His blessings. Then, Ask for forgiveness before you ask for anything, as was the formula of the Prophet Yunus ‘alayhi sallam. Then ask about your needs and Duas.

Ask Al-Mujeeb for everything (halal) you wish in the Hereafter but also in this world. And Ask for others, what dua will you make for others, Angels says Ameen over it for them and for you too.

— : Everything

Whatever you need, Ask it straightforwardly. (Halal Things). Their no limits for asking. Even Prophet (SAW) said that Ask even if you need a strap of the show.

: Don’t be hasty

If your dua doesn't get accepted, then don't be sad or depressed or in hasten. Maybe that wish is not for your betterment at that time. Allah says that something you love is not better for you. Allah's knowledge is ultimate and accepts his ways. And if your dua did not get accepted then don’t worry, Allah will not waste it. He will replace it with something else, or gives you a reward in Akhirah. In short, your dua will not be wasted, so keep asking.

To be Continued ………………….
